Following the return of its reboot in February, "Scrubs" Season 2 premieres on Sept. 30 on ABC. The new series continues the plot from the original "Scrubs", which aired from 2001 to 2010.
"J.D. and Turk scrub in together after a long break," the reboot's description reads on IMDb. "Medicine and interns have evolved, but their friendship remains strong. New and familiar faces at Sacred Heart bring laughs, emotion, and unexpected moments."
USA TODAY television critic Kelly Lawler gave the reboot's first season one out of five stars, saying the first four episodes are bad and "so cognitively dissonant from the world in which we live now."
