A packed election day
It's a busy six-state primary day Tuesday, as midterm ballots take shape ahead of November's election.
Here's one thing to know about today's races:
- Connecticut: Democrat Gov. Ned Lamont faces a progressive challenger.
- Minnesota: Trump backed former MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell for governor in the Republican primary.
- Vermont: U.S. Rep. Becca Balint runs unopposed in the Democratic primary for Vermont's sole seat in the U.S. House.
- Wisconsin: State Rep. Francesca Hong, a democratic socialist, leads polls in a chaotic primary for governor.
- Alabama: Alabama already held its primary elections on May 19, but recent litigation battles necessitated redoes for certain congressional districts.
- South Carolina: U.S. Sen. Darline Graham is among Republicans competing in a special primary election to replace her brother, the late U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham.

Thirty years after Tupac Shakur was fatally shot in Las Vegas, a murder trial is finally here. The trial began Monday with jury selection, kicking off what is expected to be a monthlong trial to determine the fate of Duane Keith "Keffe D" Davis, who prosecutors allege instructed gangmembers to shoot Shakur – and provided the gun – on Sept. 7, 1996.
