Ryan Clark's podcast has a new home.
"The Pivot," co-hosted by Clark alongside former NFL players Channing Crowder and Fred Taylor and produced by Clark's production company Pivot25 Productions, has reached a multi-year deal with Netflix, according to Boardroom.
Clark was one of the most notable names involved in ESPN's layoffs
for on-camera talent in July. His firing in particular garnered attention since he was informed of his dismissal halfway through a taping of "NFL Live."Launched in 2022, "The Pivot" features frank conversation and occasional guests. Pivot25 is expected to produce bonus episodes for Netflix in addition to its normal programming.
"I've gained a new perspective: passion over platform, and people over perception," Clark said,
per Boardroom, adding that he was "grateful and excited" by the Netflix opportunity.
Since launching in 2022, The Pivot, hosted by Clark, Channing Crowder and Fred Taylor, has released more than 500 episodes and generated nearly 1 billion views across YouTube and social platforms.

Netflix has begun licensing deals with some of the biggest sports podcasts through companies such as Spotify and Barstool in an effort to match the streaming power of YouTube.
