As with most Bissell vacuums, you'll find mostly glowing reviews of the PowerClean, a stick vacuum with a large dust basin and array of cleaning attachments ideal for any surface. Shoppers give it a 4.4-star rating and praise its powerful performance, excellent value, and superior suction abilities.
The PowerClean runs on a rechargeable battery
(up to 50 minutes of runtime!) and comes with a wall mount so you can store it without taking up any floor space. It features a unique self-standing design and array of features and attachments that stand out from its competitors, including:
- FurFinder Upholstery Tool: This handy device is specifically designed to tackle pet hair, whether you're cleaning up your couch or trying to de-hair your cat tree.
- FurFinder Headlights: Many cordless vacuums come with headlights these days, but the PowerClean comes with FurFinder headlights, or those specifically designed to highlight those light hairs that are lurking beneath everything you own.
- Dual Brush Design: This model comes with two brushes: one that "loosens embedded dirt" and another that "hugs the floor." Basically, it has two brushes to better dislodge the debris hiding in your carpets.
- Self-Standing Design: Unlike other cordless vacuums, the Bissell PowerClean can actually stand on its own without tipping over, an excellent feature if you tend to start vacuuming, then get distracted by your 3-year-old climbing on the coffee table and screaming, "Can I jump?"
- Removable Battery: Having a battery you can physically take out is a pretty cool feature for a standing vacuum. No need to charge the whole apparatus at once —just take out the battery, plug it in, and go about your day.
- Only 8 Pounds: Or about half the weight of my cat.
Bissell specifically notes that the PowerClean is great for pet owners, noting that its FurFinder technology is ideal for helping them tackle the areas that get quickly covered in dander and fur. Even better: For every model sold, the brand gives back to the Bissell Pet Foundation, which aims to reduce pet homelessness.
