Apple will announce several new products on Wednesday afternoon, with many users crossing their fingers for the first foldable iPhone.
Apple's "Surprise and Shine" event kicks off at 1 p.m. ET at Apple Park
in Cupertino, California. The keynote will be available for streaming on the Apple website and Apple TV app.
Apple has not teased what products will be announced during its big event, but tech experts are hopeful for the release of the iPhone Ultra, the first foldable iPhone.
The event comes a week after longtime executive John Ternus took over as the tech giant's CEO on Sept. 1, succeeding Tim Cook, who announced he was stepping down in April.

The app shows Lake Ontario for users in Canada, Lake America in the United States, and both names for international users, according to Bloomberg. The company told Reuters that their update followed change to the body of water’s name in the U.S. Geographic Names Information System.
By comparison, Apple Maps opted to swap the name of the body of water formerly known as the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America after Trump's push in early 2025.
USA TODAY reached out to Apple multiple times before the change and has done so again following the rollout.
The change occurred on the first day of CEO John Ternus' tenure at the top of the Silicon Valley giant.
Rumors of foldable iPhone follow Samsung's latest release
