HDFC Asset Management Company Ltd.'s share price rose 5.44 per cent on Friday after the company reported its third-quarter results for the financial year
2026. The company's consolidated net profit in the third quarter increased by 20 per cent YoY to Rs 769.42 crore. The asset manager had earned a net profit of Rs 641.5 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago. On QoQ basis, the PAT surged by 718.4 crore.

Over a longer horizon, the company has delivered stable returns, rising 1.71 per cent year-to-date, and gaining 31.69 per cent in a one-year period compared to Nifty Midcap 50's 13.35 per cent gain in the same period.
HDFC AMC carries a total market capitalisation of nearly Rs 1.14 lakh crore, with a free‑float market cap of nearly Rs 54,514 crore, while its one‑year price range spans from a low of Rs 2,298 to a high of Rs 2,809.
The stock's Relative Strength Index was 82. Notably, an RSI above 70 indicates that the stock is overbought, and below 30 indicates the stock is oversold. Meanwhile, 30 to 70 indicates a neutral zone, with 50 often indicating no strong trend.
HDFC AMC Q3 Result
The company's revenue from operations grew 15 per cent to Rs 1,074.3 crore in the third quarter, compared with Rs 934.3 crore in the year-ago period. The firm's total income in the reporting quarter stood at Rs 1,234.3 crore as against Rs 1,027.7 crore clocked in the same three-month period of the previous fiscal.The total expenses edged higher by 17 per cent to Rs 220.4 crore, the filing showed.
The investment manager's operating profit from core AM business increased by 15 per cent in the December 2025 quarter.
For the nine-month period ending December 31, 2025, HDFC AMC reported a 23 per cent year-on-year increase in profit-after-tax to Rs 2,236 crore, up from Rs 1,822 crore a year earlier.
Revenues for the nine-month period rose 18 per cent to Rs 3,068 crore from Rs 2,597 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
The asset manager also saw its average assets under management climb to Rs 9.25 lakh crore as of December 31, 2025, up from Rs 7.87 lakh crore in the previous year.
At the end October-December quarter, the company has an unique investor base of 1.54 crore and 2.77 crore live accounts.
The company holds a 12 per cent market share in the top 30 cities and serves customers across nearly 98 per cent of all pincodes in India.
It operates through a network of 280 offices, with 196 located in B-30 regions, and is supported by over 1.06 lakh empaneled distribution partners, the company said in its investor presentation.
