is scheduled to take place in the last week of October wherein the members could approve a dividend. If dividend is announced by Coal India, then this will be second interim dividend by the PSU.
Coal India Q2 Results Date
Coal India dividend announcement will take place in the Q2 results FY2026. The board has announced the board meeting schedule for announcing the quarterly results.
Coal India said that bord meeting will take place on October 29, 2025 to approve the financial statement for the second quarter of the current financial year (FY2025-26).
"A meeting of Board of Directors of the company will be held on Wednesday, the 29th October’ 2025 inter-alia, to consider, approve and take on record Un-Audited Financial Results of the Company (Standalone & Consolidated) for the 2nd quarter ended 30th September’ 2025 after the results are reviewed by the Audit Committee of the Board," Coal India said in filing.
Coal India Dividend Announcement
Coal India in the same filing said that the board will also take up a proposal for the declaration of second interim dividend.
"Board of Directors of the company may also, inter alia, consider and declare payment of 2nd Interim Dividend for FY 2025-26, if any," Coal India said.
Coal India didn't announce the dividend record date in the latest exchange filing. The board of Coal India may announce the record date along with amount in the Q2 results.
Coal India Dividend History
According to BSE website, Coal India had paid a final dividend of Rs 5.15 and an interim dividend of Rs 5.50. Before this, the Maharatna PSU had distributed Rs 5.60 as an interim dividend in January.
In CY 2024, Coal India had paid dividend three times, aggregating to Rs 26.25. In 2023 and 2022, Coal India had rewarded its investors by paying them a dividend of Rs 24.50 and Rs 23 per share, respectively.

Coal India shares traded in the green at Rs 384 on NSE around 3 PM on Wednesday (October 15).
