1st interim dividend after stock split: A capital market company, a constituent of BSE 500, CAMS, may soon announce an interim dividend for its shareholders.
The company has scheduled its next board meeting to consider and approve the financial results for the third quarter of FY26. During the same meeting, the board will also deliberate on a proposal to declare an interim dividend. If the board recommends an interim dividend, it will be the first such corporate action by the company after the sub-division of equity shares or stock split. The name of the capital market company under discussion here for the 1st interim dividend after the stock split is Computer Age Management Services (CAMS). CAMS is India’s largest registrar and transfer agent of mutual funds, says the company. "We would like to inform you that a meeting of the Board of Directors (the "Board") of the Company is scheduled to be held on Thursday, 22nd January 2026 (Meeting), inter alia to consider and approve the un-audited Financial Results (Standalone and Consolidated), for the quarter ended December 31, 2025 and to take on record the Limited Review Reports of the Auditors thereon," CAMS said in an exchange filing dated December 23, 2025.
CAMS Dividend Record Date
CAMS has announced that Friday, January 30, 2026, will be the record date for determining the shareholders eligible to receive the dividend, if declared.
"The Board will also consider the payment of an interim dividend. The record date for identifying shareholders entitled to the interim dividend, if approved by the Board, will be January 30, 2026," the company stated in its filing.

While writing this report (9:29 AM) after market opening, the CAMS shares were down by 0.71 per cent to trade at Rs 705.10. The previous closing scrip was Rs 710.15.
CAMS Stock Split History
Back in December 2025, CAMS had announced its first-ever stock split, in which the company split its face value from Rs 10 to Rs 2. CAMS had fixed December 5, 2025, as the record date for the stock split.
CAMS Dividend History
CAMS has a dividend yield of 1.49 per cent and a consistent track record of rewarding its shareholders. In CY 2025, the company declared dividends on four occasions: Rs 17.50 in February, Rs 19 in July, Rs 11 in August, and Rs 14 in November.
In the previous years, CAMS also delivered substantial returns to its investors, paying dividends of Rs 64.50 in CY 2024 and Rs 40.50 in CY 2023, according to BSE data.
