Four stocks, some of them recently listed -- Swiggy (SWIGGY), Waaree Energies (WAAREEENER), Premier Energies (PREMIERENE) and Bajaj Holdings & Investment
(BAJAJHLDNG) -- are included in the futures and options (F&O) segment of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) starting the January 2026 series, the exchange said in a circular. Among the four additions, Swiggy, Waaree Energies and Premier Energies are relatively new entrants to Dalal Street, having made their stock market debuts in November, October and September, respectively, last year. F&O trading in these stocks will commence today, December 31, according to the exchange. The NSE announced details related to market lot size, strike price scheme and applicable quantity freeze limits on December 30.

Bajaj Holdings & Investment, the core investment company of the Bajaj Group, has been listed since 1995.
With the latest inclusions, the total number of stocks available for trading in the NSE F&O segment stands at 208.
Earlier, in October 2025, the exchange had removed Cyient, HFCL, NCC and Titagarh Rail Systems from the derivatives segment.
Stocks are added to or removed from the F&O segment based on SEBI-approved eligibility criteria, which include parameters such as average daily market capitalisation, average daily traded value and liquidity norms.
Stocks end in positive zone on Tuesday
Shares of Swiggy on Tuesday ended at Rs 396.50, up 0.42 per cent on the NSE.
Premier Energies shares closed around 1 per cent higher at Rs 849. Another green energy stock, Waaree Energies, ended at Rs 2,976, up 0.15 per cent on the exchange.
Bajaj Holdings & Investment shares settled at Rs 11,024, up 2 per cent.
