Kotak Flexicap Fund has completed 16 years since its launch. A ₹1,000-per-month Systematic Investment Plan (SIP0 of ₹1.93 lakh has grown to ₹7.25 lakh,
delivering a 15.01% CAGR. Its assets under management (AUM) have crossed ₹54,000 crore.
Launched in September 2009, the fund invests across large-cap, mid-cap, and small-cap stocks. Flexicap funds like this one can shift investments across market capitalisations to capture growth opportunities and manage risk.
The fund has outperformed its benchmark, the Nifty 500 TRI, which returned 12.99% over the same period.
As of August 31, the fund’s average AUM stood at ₹53,625 crore. Its portfolio blends sector-focused strategies with selective stock picking. The approach aims to balance market exposure and long-term wealth creation.
Key performance metrics include a Sharpe ratio below 1, a beta of less than 1, a portfolio turnover ratio of 7.59%, and a standard deviation of 12.915.
