Groww MF Launches New Asset Allocation Fund

Groww Mutual Fund has introduced the Groww Multi Asset Allocation Fund, an open-ended scheme designed to invest across multiple asset classes, including equity, debt, gold, and silver.

(NFO) will remain open till September 24.

The scheme seeks to provide investors with a diversified portfolio framework aimed at reducing volatility and adapting to changing market conditions.

Asset allocation decisions will be supported by SHAASTRA, Groww Mutual Fund’s in-house platform that integrates macroeconomic data, market trends, and technical indicators.

The case for multi-asset investing lies in the differing performance cycles of asset classes. Equities tend to benefit during periods of economic growth, while

debt returns are shaped by interest rates and inflation trends. Precious metals such as gold and silver often gain during uncertainty, global risk events, or currency fluctuations. Since these drivers are not perfectly correlated, combining them within a portfolio may help balance risks.

Market data indicates that leadership among asset classes rotates over time, with equities, debt, or commodities performing differently in different years. Historical evidence suggests that multi-asset portfolios have delivered returns

comparable to broad equity markets, but at relatively lower volatility.
