The newly launched services under the bob इ Pay International suite include UPI Global Acceptance, Foreign Inward Remittance from Singapore residents, and UPI Services tailored for NRIs.
With UPI Global Acceptance, Bank of Baroda customers traveling abroad can now use the bob इ Pay app to make QR code-based payments to merchants in eight countries supporting UPI — Mauritius, Singapore, UAE, USA, France, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Bhutan.

The Foreign Inward Remittance feature allows Bank of Baroda customers in India to receive real-time remittances 24x7 from Singapore residents via the bob इ Pay app. Senders in Singapore can transfer funds by entering the recipient’s registered UPI ID or Virtual Payment Address (VPA). The amount is sent in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and credited in Indian Rupees (INR) directly to the beneficiary’s UPI-linked bank account.
For NRI customers, the bank has introduced UPI services enabling them to send and receive money through the bob इ Pay app. NRIs visiting India can link their Non-Resident External (NRE) or Non-Resident Ordinary (NRO) accounts to the app using a domestic mobile number to make payments at merchant outlets or conduct peer-to-peer transfers.
Each international UPI transaction under these new features has a per day and per transaction limit of ₹1 lakh, aligned with the existing domestic UPI limits.
The bob इ Pay app, a homegrown UPI platform by Bank of Baroda, is available for both customers and non-customers and currently serves over 1.3 million registered users. The app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, with new services activated via the app settings.
