SBI Card will revise its Card Protection Plan (CPP) benefits and pricing for existing customers starting September 16. The company said that all active CPP customers will be migrated to new plan variants on their respective
renewal dates.
According to the announcement, customers will receive prior communication via SMS or email at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
The revised structure introduces three variants – Classic, Premium, and Platinum – with updated benefits and reduced pricing compared to earlier plans.

Fraud protection:
- Up to ₹1 lakh cover for PIN-based frauds, phishing, tele-phishing, and transactions where OTP is not required.
- Additional cover of up to ₹25,000 to ₹1 lakh for card-present and card-not-present frauds.
Mobile wallet protection: Up to ₹10,000–₹50,000 if the device is physically lost.
Coverage for family members
- Classic: Primary member only.
