Western North Carolina fall sports are finally back, with most sports beginning on Aug. 10.
After one week of action, it's time to vote for this week's Ingles Western North Carolina girls Athlete of the Week.
Vote for the girls athlete who had the best performance last week. The poll closes on Thursday at noon.
Caroline Hollifield, Avery County: Hollifield recorded 20 kills and 13 digs in a 3-0 win vs. West Wilkes.
Bristol Brooks, Franklin: Brooks recorded 39 assists and 15 digs in a 3-0 win vs. Cherokee.
Emory Freeman, Hendersonville: Freeman had 11 kills and nine aces in a 3-0 win vs. East Henderson.
Lanie Miller, Mitchell: Miller had 31 assists and 11 digs in the win.
Kenzie Alm, Polk County: Alm finished with 11 kills, 19 assists, 11 digs and four
aces in a 3-1 win vs. R-S Central.
Reeve Carroll, Polk County: Carroll recorded 11 kills and 15 digs in a sweep against East Rutherford.
Allie Tatum, Reynolds: Tatum recorded six aces in a 3-0 win vs. North Henderson.
Lanae Kurle, West Henderson: Kurle recorded 10 kills, 13 digs and three blocks in a 3-0 win vs. Reynolds.
