Robbinsville's Daphne Barlow records 28 digs to lead Week 2 WNC fall sports top performers

The 2026 Western North Carolina high school fall sports season has reached Week 2.

Soccer

Fernan Ibarra, Smoky Mountain: Ibarra recorded two goals in a 4-1 win vs. Swain County.

Volleyball

Caroline Hollifield, Avery County: Hollifield racked up 14 kills and 12 digs in a 3-0 win vs. West Wilkes.

Bristol Brooks, Franklin: Brooks recorded 36 assists and surpassed 1,000 career assists in a 3-0

win vs. Kings Mountain.

Audrey Pressley, Franklin: Pressley had 15 kills and 14 digs in the victory.

Ella Raby, Franklin: Raby had 12 kills in the win.

Addison Gregory, Mitchell: Gregory racked up 18 kills and 13 digs in a 3-0 win vs. North Buncombe.

Lanie Miller, Mitchell: Miller had 34 assists and eight digs in the victory.

Regan Woodlief, Mitchell: Woodlief had 12 kills and two blocks in the win.

Addie Frellick, Reynolds: Frellick collected 14 digs and 10 assists in a 3-0 win vs. Brevard.

Addy Mitchell, Reynolds: Mitchell racked up five kills and three blocks in the victory.

Daphne Barlow, Robbinsville: Barlow racked up 28 digs in a 3-1 win vs. Murphy.

Zaelyn Phillips, Robbinsville: Phillips had eight kills and eight blocks in the win.

Eden Ferguson, West Henderson: Ferguson recorded 26 assists in a 3-0 win vs. Polk County.

Joelie Humiston, West Henderson: Humiston had 21 digs in the victory.

Lanae Kurle, West Henderson: Kurle tallied 15 kills and 11 digs in the win.

Giselle White, West Henderson: White had 11 kills and 14 digs in the victory.

Volleyball

Rileigh Huckabee, Mountain Heritage: Huckabee racked up seven blocks in a 3-0 win vs. Swain County.

Samanatha Horton, Tuscola: Horton tallied 19 kills in a 3-1 win vs. Erwin.

Stella Yarrington, Tuscola: Yarrington had 31 assists and 14 digs in the victory.

Giselle White, West Henderson: White recorded five kills, seven aces, three blocks and 14 digs in a 3-0 win vs. Owen.
