Only a handful of weeks remain in the 2026 Western North Carolina high school fall sports season as it enters Week 8.
It's time to vote for this week's Ingles Western North Carolina girls Athlete of the Week.
Vote for the girls athlete who had the best performance last week. The poll closed on Oct. 1 at noon.
Olivia Johnson, Asheville Christian Academy:
Johnson had 14 kills and seven aces in a 3-0 win vs. Carolina Day.Gabby Rollins, Asheville High: Rollins recorded 13 kills and 17 digs in a 2-1 win vs. Polk County.
Hadley Merritt, Brevard: Merritt won the girls' three-mile run at Reynolds with a time of 20:22.30.
Lilly Lossiah, Cherokee: Lossiah had 27 assists and seven digs in a 3-0 win vs. Swain County.
Ella Raby, Franklin: Raby recorded 13 kills
and 10 digs in a 3-0 win vs. Murphy.
Ava Grant, Owen: Grant tallied 13 kills and 21 digs in a 3-1 win vs. Enka.
Kenzie Robinson, Owen: Robinson had 35 assists and 20 digs in a 3-0 win vs. Polk County.
Lanae Kurle, West Henderson: Kurle tallied 16 kills, a block and eight digs in a 3-0 win vs. Pisgah.
