Four weeks of the 2026 Western North Carolina high school volleyball season have come and gone.
There is one top-five and four top-10 matchups this week, including No. 2 West Henderson at No. 1 Franklin.
Here are the WNC high school volleyball Super 10 rankings after Week 4.
1. Franklin (13-0)
Outside hitter Ella Raby has racked up 131 kills, averaging nearly four kills per set to help the Panthers start the 2026 season undefeated.
This week: at No. 6 Smoky Mountain (Sept. 8), vs. No. 2 West Henderson (Sept. 10). Last week: No. 1.
2. West Henderson (11-0)
The Falcons and the Panthers are putting their undefeated records on the line on Sept. 10. A West Henderson win would
put it in a strong position to win the Mountain 8 Conference for a third straight season.
This week: vs. North Henderson (Sept. 8), at No. 1 Franklin (Sept. 10). Last week: No. 2.
3. Roberson (10-3)
The Rams have won seven out of their last eight matches. They have also not dropped a set during this current four-match winning streak.
This week: vs. Enka (Sept. 10). Last week: No. 4.
4. Owen (7-2)
Outside hitter Mia Roland racked up 17 kills and 21 digs in a 3-0 win vs. Mitchell. She has helped the Warhorses go on a five-match winning streak.
This week: vs. Hendersonville (Sept. 8), vs. Madison (Sept. 10). Last week: No. 6.
5. Asheville Christian Academy (8-3)
Setter Mallory Corbett poured in 44 assists and three blocks in a 3-2 loss vs. Christ Church Episcopal (S.C.) last week. The defeat was the third the Lions have suffered this season.
This week: at No. 8 Reynolds (Sept. 8), at Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (Ga.) (Sept. 10). Last week: No. 3.
6. Smoky Mountain (8-1)
The Mustangs dropped their first match of the 2026 season to No. 2 West Henderson 3-0 last week. They bounced back with a sweep against Swain County on Sept. 7.
This week: vs. No. 1 Franklin (Sept. 8), at North Henderson (Sept. 10). Last week: No. 7.
7. Cherokee (11-5)
The Braves went 3-4 against national competition in a tournament in Florida this past weekend.
This week: vs. Rosman (Sept. 8), at No. 10 Robbinsville (Sept. 10). Last week: No. 5.
8. Reynolds (8-5)
The Rockets have split their last four matches, falling to No. 1 Franklin 3-0 and No. 4 Owen 3-2. Their schedule doesn't get easier this week when they face No. 5 Asheville Christian Academy.
This week: vs. No. 5 Asheville Christian Academy (Sept. 8), vs. Erwin (Sept. 10). Last week: No. 8.
9. Hayesville (5-2)
The Yellow Jackets fell to No. 7 Cherokee, 3-0, on Sept. 1. They bounced back by sweeping Rosman on Sept. 3.
This week: at No. 10 Robbinsville (Sept. 8), at Andrews (Sept.10). Last week: No. 10.
10. Robbinsville (7-2)
The Black Knights join the Super 10 rankings after winning five matches in a row after falling to No. 6 Smoky Mountain on Aug. 24.
This week: vs. No. 9 Hayesville (Sept. 8), vs. No. 7 Cherokee (Sept. 10). Last week: Unranked.
