ASHEVILLE - If there's one holiday Asheville goes all out for, it's Halloween.
The legendary Brew Pump party turns a gas station and tucked-away taproom into the ultimate monster bash, spreading from the West Asheville parking lot to Vermont Avenue, where residents deck their yards out with creepy and magical decorations for a night of trick-or-treating and a costume stroll down the street.
Downtown, Haywood Road, South Slope and the River Arts District are several prime areas to see and be seen while sporting Halloween costumes and festive attire. Yet, the party doesn't stop there.
The Omni Grove Park Inn's Halloween shenanigans will include a visit with the resident ghost, the Pink Lady. A historic Montford neighborhood theater will become an immersive
haunted house, with scares waiting around every corner at Hauntville High.
Dance with Dracula, feast with Frankenstein's monster, and hunt down tricks and treats with The Wolfman at these upcoming Halloween-themed parties and events.
After the monster mash, clean up your monster mess at the Post-Halloween Clean Up Day event, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Nov. 1, beginning at Westville Pub on Haywood Road in West Asheville.
On Nov. 1, honor lost loved ones at Día de los Muertos celebrations across town.
This list will be updated. Send your business's Halloween events to tkennell@citizentimes.com.
