The second week of the 2026 Western North Carolina high school fall sports is behind us.
It's time to vote for this week's Ingles Western North Carolina girls Athlete of the Week.
Vote for the girls athlete who had the best performance last week. The poll closes on Aug. 27 at noon.
Olivia Johnson, Asheville Christian Academy: Johnson recorded 15 kills and a block in a 3-0 win vs. Asheville High.
Caroline Hollifield, Avery County: Hollifield racked up 14 kills and 12 digs in a 3-0 win vs. West Wilkes.
Makenna Moss, Hayesville: Moss won the Hayesville Home Meet Varsity Girls 5K, running a 21:35.30.
Rileigh Huckabee, Mountain Heritage: Huckabee racked up seven blocks in a 3-0 win vs. Swain County.
Abby Lewis, Polk County: Lewis had 27 assists and 11 digs
in the 3-2 victory vs. R-S Central.
Cora Jones, Reynolds: Jones had 10 kills and two blocks in a 3-0 win vs. Owen.
Stella Yarrington, Tuscola: Yarrington had 31 assists and 14 digs in the victory.
Joelie Humiston, West Henderson: Humiston had 21 digs in the 3-0 victory vs. Polk County.
