ASHEVILLE - National Taco Day is annually observed on the first Tuesday in October, falling on Oct. 6 this year.
Every week, Taco Tuesday gives us a day to celebrate the dish, but really, every day is the right day for indulging in its greatness.
Soft or hard shell. Traditional Oaxacan-style or original, modern recipes. Brimming with carne asada or stuffed with roasted mushrooms.
Tacos' versatility has made them a universal favorite for diners, and in Asheville there's no shortage of styles and places to get the best bites.
