Only a handful of weeks remain in the 2026 Western North Carolina high school volleyball season.
Four top-10 matchups are on the schedule this week, including No. 4 Owen at No. 6 Hendersonville on Oct. 1.
Here are the WNC high school volleyball Super 10 rankings after Week 7.
1. Franklin (21-0)
Setter Bristol Brooks leads North Carolina in assists with 653 this season. She is averaging 10 assists per set.
This week: vs. Hayesville (Sept. 28), at North Henderson (Sept. 29), vs. No. 6 Smoky Mountain (Oct. 1). Last week: No. 1.
2. West Henderson (22-2)
The Falcons have won 10 out of their last 11. They picked up their second loss of 2026 when they fell to Hickory 2-1 on Sept. 26.
This week: at No.
6. Smoky Mountain (Sept. 29), at North Henderson (Oct. 1). Last week: No. 2.
3. Asheville Christian Academy (12-5)
Outside hitter Reece Shuman tallied 24 kills and 24 digs in a 3-2 loss vs. Brevard on Sept. 23.
This week: vs. Asheville School (Sept. 29), vs. No. 8 Reynolds (Oct. 3). Last week: No. 3.
4. Owen (13-3)
Middle hitter Adeline West recorded 12 kills and four blocks to lead Owen to a 3-0 win vs. Polk County on Sept. 22. The Warhorses have won four straight since falling to No. 3 Asheville Christian Academy on Sept. 15.
This week: at Mitchell (Sept. 29), at No. 6 Hendersonville (Oct. 1). Last week: No. 4.
5. Cherokee (21-7)
Middle hitter Joscelyn Stamper racked up 11 kills, two aces and four blocks to guide the Braves to a 2-0 win over Hickory at a tournament at West Henderson this past weekend.
This week: vs. Blue Ridge Early College (Sept. 29), vs. Brevard (Sept. 30), at Rosman (Oct. 1). Last week: No. 5.
6. Hendersonville (13-6)
Outside hitter Reagan Adams collected six blocks in Hendersonville's 3-0 win over Mitchell on Sept. 22. She has helped the Bearcats win four straight.
This week: at Madison (Sept. 29), vs. No. 4 Owen (Oct. 1). Last week: No. 8.
7. Smoky Mountain (13-4)
Outside hitter Kenna Conlin had 18 kills and 14 digs, and setter Lucee Wilson had 45 assists, helping the Mustangs secure a 3-2 win vs. Brevard on Sept. 24.
This week: vs. No. 2 West Henderson (Sept. 29), at No. 1 Franklin (Oct. 1). Last week: No. 7.
8. Reynolds (17-7)
Middle hitter Keana Smith recorded 10 kills and eight blocks to guide Reynolds to a 3-2 win vs. Asheville High.
This week: Erwin (Sept. 29), at Enka (Oct. 1), No. 3 Asheville Christian Academy (Oct. 3). Last week: No. 9.
9. Roberson (16-8)
The Rams went 4-3 last week. Their three losses came against No. 2 West Henderson, Alexander Central and No. 5 Cherokee. They did pick up two wins against Polk County.
This week: at Enka (Sept. 29), vs. Asheville High (Oct. 1). Last week: No. 6.
10. Murphy (12-5)
The Bulldogs went 2-1 last week, with their lone loss coming to No. 1 Franklin. They also earned a 3-0 win vs. Robbinsville on Sept. 24.
This week: vs. Hiwassee Dam (Sept. 28), at Andrews (Sept. 29), at Highlands (Oct. 1). Last week: Unranked.
