The 2026 Western North Carolina high school fall sports season is underway.

Aug. 11
Soccer
Eli Stotz, Asheville Christian Academy: Stotz had two goals in a 4-0 win vs. St. Stephens.
Matthew Bullock, Roberson: Bullock recorded two goals in a 4-4 draw vs. Franklin.
Volleyball
Bristol Brooks, Franklin: Brooks collected 31 assists and seven digs in a 3-0 win vs. Enka.
Audrey Pressley, Franklin: Pressley racked
up 12 kills and two blocks in the win.
Reagan Adams, Hendersonville: Reagan Adams tallied 14 kills and two blocks in a 3-2 win vs. Pisgah.
Eleanor Pavao, Hendersonville: Pavao had 11 kills and six blocks in the victory.
Allie Tatum, Reynolds: Tatum recorded six aces in a 3-0 win vs. North Henderson.
Kaitlyn Auten, West Henderson: Auten had nine kills and three blocks in a 3-1 win vs. Ashe County.

Soccer
Eli Wallin, Madison: Wallin had two goals in a 4-3 loss vs. Chase.
Lyle Sulzman, Owen: Sulzman racked up two goals in a 3-1 win vs. Pisgah.
John Partridge, Reynolds: Partridge scored two goals in a 3-2 win vs. Alexander Central.
Jonathan Antonio, Smoky Mountain: Antonio recorded a hat trick in a 3-1 win vs. North Buncombe.
Luke Schlegel, West Henderson: Schlegel collected a hat trick in a 3-1 win vs. Crest.
Volleyball
Addison Gregory, Mitchell: Gregory collected 12 kills and 18 digs in a 3-1 win vs. McDowell.
Lanie Miller, Mitchell: Miller had 31 assists and 11 digs in the win.
Olivia Thacker, Mitchell: Thacker tallied 12 kills and 18 digs in the victory.
Regan Woodlief, Mitchell: Woodlief had 16 kills and three blocks in the win.
Reeve Carroll, Polk County: Carroll recorded 11 kills and 15 digs in a sweep against East Rutherford.
Abby Lewis, Polk County: Lewis had 16 assists in the victory.
Samantha Horton, Tuscola: Horton racked up 13 kills in a 3-2 win vs. Erwin.
