Week 4 of the 2026 North Carolina High School Athletic Association volleyball season is on deck.
There are three top-10 matchups, including Reynolds at Franklin, Smoky Mountain at West Henderson and Hayesville at Cherokee.
Here are the WNC high school volleyball Super 10 rankings after Week 3.
1. Franklin (10-0)
Outside hitter Ella Raby racked up 18 kills and 12 digs to lead Franklin to a 3-1 win over then-No. 6 Brevard on Aug. 25. The Panthers have only dropped two sets this season.
This week: vs. No. 8 Reynolds (Aug. 31), at Tuscola (Sept. 1), vs. North
Henderson (Sept. 3). Last week: No. 1.
2. West Henderson (8-0)
The Falcons swept county rivals Hendersonville and East Henderson last week. Middle hitter Ella Collier and outside hitters Giselle White and Lanae Kurle all had double-digit kills against the Bearcats.
This week: at Pisgah (Sept. 1), vs. Polk County (Sept. 2), vs. No. 7 Smoky Mountain (Sept. 3). Last week: No. 3.
3. Asheville Christian Academy (7-2)
The Lions split their matches against then-No. 5 Polk County and Davidson Day. Outside hitter Reece Shuman recorded 21 kills and 20 digs in the win over the Wolverines.
This week: at Christ Church Episcopal (S.C.) (Sept. 1), vs. Enka (Sept. 3). Last week: No. 2.
4. Roberson (7-3)
The Rams defeated Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (Ga.) 3-0 in their only match last week. They have won four out of their last five matches.
This week: vs. Pisgah (Aug. 31), at McDowell (Sept. 1), vs. Avery County (Sept. 3). Last week: No. 4.
5. Cherokee (7-1)
The Braves won all of their matches against Andrews, Murphy and Swain County last week. Middle hitter Joscelyn Stamper had 12 kills, four blocks and 14 digs in the 3-1 win against the Bulldogs.
This week: vs. No. 10 Hayesville (Sept. 1), vs. Argyle (Texas) (Sept. 3), vs. Boca Raton Christian (Fla.) (Sept. 3), vs. Scarsdale (N.Y.) (Sept. 3), vs. Andrews (Texas) (Sept. 4), vs. Satellite (Fla.) (Sept. 5). Last week: No. 8.
6. Owen (4-2)
Outside hitter Mia Roland helped the Warhorses avenge an earlier loss in the season to No. 8 Reynolds on Aug. 25. She recorded 19 kills, 22 digs and two blocks in the 3-2 win.
This week: at Avery County (Sept. 1), at Erwin (Sept. 2), vs. Mitchell (Sept. 3). Last week: Unranked.
7. Smoky Mountain (5-0)
The Mustangs have quietly jumped out to an undefeated start. They have wins over Robbinsville and Tuscola. Setter Lucee Wilson tallied 46 assists, 13 digs and two blocks in a 3-1 win over the Mountaineers.
This week: vs. Murphy (Aug. 31), vs. Brevard (Sept. 1), at No. 2 West Henderson (Sept. 3). Last week: Unranked.
8. Reynolds (7-4)
Reynolds bounced back from a 3-2 loss against No. 6 Owen with a 3-0 win against Mountain Heritage. Setter Brennen Player had 18 assists, seven digs and three aces in the victory.
This week: at No. 1 Franklin (Aug. 31), vs. Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (Ga.) (Sept. 1). Last week: No. 9.
9. Madison (4-1)
The Patriots have won four straight since falling to Asheville High in their season opener. Outside hitter Eva Greer had 25 kills and 22 digs in a 3-1 win vs. Avery County. Setter Meredith Gault added 41 assists.
This week: vs. Erwin (Aug. 31), vs. Mountain Heritage (Sept. 1), at Hendersonville (Sept. 3). Last week: Unranked.
10. Hayesville (4-1)
The Yellow Jackets enter this week's rankings after winning four straight matches after falling to No. 7 Smoky Mountain 3-2 in their season opener.
This week: at No. 5 Cherokee (Sept. 1), at Rosman (Sept. 3). Last week: Unranked.
