The Arizona high school flag football season is off and rolling, with the first week of games now completed. There were a ton of great performances from around the state.
Here are The Arizona Republic's picks for the Top 25 flag football performances for Sept. 14-18, 2026.

Top 25 HS flag football performers
- Lacie Nemchick, Gilbert Highland, QB, Jr.
She was 23-for-32 passing with 293 yards and three touchdowns in a 41-16 win over Gilbert Campo Verde. Also added seven carries for 54 yards and two TDs on the ground.
- Kayla Tacker, Casa Grande, WR/DB, Sr.
She had three interceptions in a 46-0 win over Phoenix Paradise Valley, becoming the first player in Arizona
to record 50 career interceptions. Also had nine receptions for 106 yards and one TD on offense.
- Amaya Moreno, Gilbert Campo Verde, QB, Sr.
She was 17-for-20 with 458 yards and 10 touchdowns in a 69-0 win over Tempe McClintock, tying the Arizona state record for most passing touchdowns in a single game. She leads the state with 877 passing yards and 12 TDs.
- Jaiyana Bogan-Jacobs, Gilbert Campo Verde, WR/DB, So.
Hauled in 14 receptions for 271 yards and two touchdowns in a 41-16 loss to Highland. Followed that up with two catches for 82 yards and two touchdowns in a win over McClintock.
- Ela Witcher, Gilbert Highland, WR/DB, So.
She had five receptions for 88 yards and one touchdown on offense in a win over Campo Verde. On defense, she had four flag pulls and one pick-six interception.
- Demitria Kossigbo, Phoenix North Canyon, RB, Sr.
Almost broke the state record for most rushing yards in a single game, putting up 261 yards and four touchdowns on 12 carries in a 24-13 win over Glendale Copper Canyon.
- Sofia Villone, Tempe Corona del Sol, S, Jr.
She had five interceptions, including three in the fourth quarter, in a 3-0 win over Goodyear Millennium.
- Christina Rust, Chandler Hamilton, R, Jr.
She had five sacks in a 28-10 win over Waddell Canyon View.
- Lillian Heier, Goodyear Estrella Foothills, QB, Jr.
She was 20-for-32 with 342 yards and four touchdowns in a 31-16 win over Tempe Marcos de Niza.
- Isla Collins, Salpointe Catholic, QB, So.
In two games (a 56-0 win over Tucson and 50-o win over Marana Mountain View), she was a combined 29-for-42 with 485 yards and nine touchdowns through the air. She added 10 carries for 142 yards and four TDs on the ground.
- Zariah Williams, Laveen Cactus Canyon, R, Jr.
She had six sacks in a 13-6 win over Chandler.
- Blanca Ventura Gomez, Flagstaff Coconino, QB, Sr.
In two games (a 55-0 win over Tuba City and a 53-0 win over Peoria), she was a combined 22-for-28 with 384 yards and 10 touchdowns.
- Riley Bublitz, Gilbert Christian, Sr.
She was instrumental in the upset 13-10 overtime win over Laveen Heritage Academy, recording four sacks and five flag pulls.
- Campbell Reader, Scottsdale Christian Academy, QB, Jr.
In two games (a 41-0 win over 4A Phoenix Arcadia and a 56-0 win over Chandler Seton Catholic Prep), she was a combined 34-for-54 passing with 447 yards and nine touchdowns. Also had two rushing TDs.
- Amiaya Tice, Glendale Mountain Ridge, QB, Jr.
In two games (a 24-0 win over Waddell Canyon View and a 30-0 win over Mesa Mountain View), she was 42-for-66 passing with 519 yards and six touchdowns. Also had seven carries for 78 yards and one TD in the win over Mountain View.
- Kendyll Dinh, Scottsdale Chaparral, WR, Jr.
She had 15 receptions for 204 yards and one touchdown in a 21-0 win over Scottsdale Horizon.
- Nola Bynum, Scottsdale Christian Academy, WR/DB, Sr.
She had five receptions for 119 yards and one touchdown in a win over Arcadia. Also had an interception on defense.
- Angelina Geambazu, Glendale Copper Canyon, WR, Sr.
She had nine receptions for 157 yards and one touchdown in a loss to North Canyon.
- Giovanna Di Scala, Chandler Seton Catholic Prep, WR, Jr.
She had seven receptions for 196 yards and one touchdown in a 20-6 win over Monument Valley.
- Delaney Humbert, Arizona Lutheran Academy, DB, Sr.
She had four interceptions, four flag pulls and one sack in a 25-0 win over El Mirage Dysart.
- Sarah Mountz, Casa Grande, QB, Sr.
She was 16-for-21 passing with 227 yards and five touchdowns in a win over Paradise Valley.
- Sophia Silverstein, Marana, WR, So.
She had five receptions for 110 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-12 win over Mesa Eastmark.
- Norija Anthony, Gilbert Mesquite, WR, Jr.
She had three receptions for 148 yards and two touchdowns in a 56-7 win over Scottsdale Prep. This season, she has six catches for four TDs.
- Leah Mazon, Gilbert Williams Field, R, So.
She had five sacks in a 12-0 win over Phoenix Maryvale.
- Sophia Saldivar, Queen Creek Crismon, WR, Jr.
She had six receptions for 135 yards and two touchdowns in a 56-0 win over Glendale ALA Ironwood.
