The 2026 Arizona high school football season is in full swing, and each week brings plenty of great plays from teams across the state.
With that in mind, The Arizona Republic is launching a weekly online poll where readers can vote from among several nominees for the high school football Play of the Week, which will be featured in an accompanying video.
As part of this, we are asking readers to submit video clips of any exceptional plays they may have caught for consideration as a weekly nominee. To help with that, we've added a link to our website where readers can easily submit a video clip of an impressive play.
Clips need to be about 30 seconds or less and submissions should include player and team names, along with information about the play.
They must be from the most recent week of games. Look for the link that says "upload your video'' at azcentral.com/sports/high-schools.
This week's nominees, featured in the video at the top of this story, involve plays from the Peoria Centennial Coyotes, Goodyear Desert Edge Scorpions and Gilbert Williams Field Black Hawks. Vote in our poll below for which should be the Play of the Week. The poll will remain open until noon on Friday, Sept. 18, and the winner will be announced on azcentral.com. (Note, some weeks may feature more than three nominees, depending on the plays submitted).
