Campo Italian Bistro and Bar in Scottsdale is closing after five years on July 31.
The restaurant is part of Genuine Concepts, the group behind restaurants like The Vig and The Little Woody and The Womack.
An Instagram post, dated July 27, announced the restaurant's closing and continued with, "This wasn’t an easy decision to make. Building Campo for this neighborhood has been a true labor of love." The post invited patrons to visit the restaurant for a last $10 pizza on Wednesday, July 29, and for the last $5 martini night on Thursday, July 30.
"A note on our wonderful team: Keep an eye out; many of the familiar bartenders and servers who have taken care of you at Campo over the years will be moving just down the road to our neighboring Genuine
Concepts spots."
Campo opened in 2021 in the former Stratta Kitchen space. Michelin-starred chef Alex Stratta created Campo's menu, serving housemade pasta and pizzas. Stratta later left to join Belmont Kitchen and Cocktails.
