Thursday Night Football prediction, Oct. 1
Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns, 5:15 p.m., Amazon Prime (stream with Prime Video)
Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers finally got on track offensively in the win over
the Bengals. They will put up enought points to outscore the Browns.
Prediction: Steelers 24, Browns 20
NFL international game prediction, Oct. 4
Indianapolis Colts vs Washington Commanders (London, England), 6:30 a.m., NFL Network (stream with FUBO)
Injuries have already had a big impact for both of these teams this season, but the Colts still have their starting QB and they still have Jonathan Taylor in the backfield.
Prediction: Colts 27, Commanders 23
Sunday early NFL game predictions, Oct. 4
Tennessee Titans at Baltimore Ravens, 10 a.m., CBS (stream with FUBO)
The Ravens' last-second win over the Cowboys was huge. Lamar Jackson and Baltimore won't need a late drive to defeat the struggling Titans.
Prediction: Ravens 30, Titans 14
New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills, 10 a.m., CBS (stream with FUBO)
This AFC East game is pivotal for the Patriots, who already find themselves chasing the undefeated Bills. New England's defense will be chasing Josh Allen throughout this game.
Prediction: Bills 31, Patriots 17
New York Jets at Chicago Bears, 10 a.m., FOX (stream with FUBO)
The Jets may be 1-2, but they are no pushover this season. Geno Smith and company will go into Soldier Field and upset the Bears.
Prediction: Jets 23, Bears 20
Jacksonville Jaguars at Cincinnati Bengals, 10 a.m., CBS (stream with FUBO)
This game has one of the highest point totals of the week for a reason. We expect a shootout in Cincinnati, with Joe Burrow and the Bengals pulling out a close win late at home.
Prediction: Bengals 33, Jaguars 30
Dallas Cowboys at Houston Texans, 10 a.m., FOX (stream with FUBO)
The Texans can't fall to 0-4, can they? Yes, they can. The long flight back from Rio de Janeiro for the Cowboys will give Dak Prescott and Dallas plenty of time to turn the page after their loss to the Ravens.
Prediction: Cowboys 24, Texans 23
Arizona Cardinals at New York Giants, 10 a.m., CBS (stream with FUBO)
The Giants opened as a 1-point favorite over Jacoby Brissett and the Cardinals, but we have a lot more confidence in Arizona's ability to put points up on the scoreboard than New York.
Prediction: Cardinals 23, Giants 20
Los Angeles Rams at Philadelphia Eagles, 10 a.m., FOX (stream with FUBO)
The Rams are just 1-2 on the season. Who saw that coming? This is pretty much a must-win game for the preseason Super Bowl favorites as they look to avoid falling to 1-3. Matthew Stafford and company get it done in Philadelphia.
Prediction: Rams 27, Eagles 24
Green Bay Packers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 10 a.m.., FOX (stream with FUBO)
These are two of the biggest disappointments in the NFL so far this season, but at least the Packers have a win. Jordan Love and company will double their win total in Tampa Bay.
Prediction: Packers 21, Buccaneers 17
Sunday late NFL game predictions, Oct. 4
Miami Dolphins at Minnesota Vikings, 1:05 p.m., FOX (stream with FUBO)
The Dolphins have scored 36 points this season. The Vikings have allowed 41. This one could get ugly, especially if Kyler Murray gets rolling.
Prediction: Vikings 27, Dolphins 13
Kansas Chiefs Chiefs at Las Vegas Raiders, 1:25 p.m., CBS (stream with FUBO)
The winner of this game takes sole possession of the AFC West lead at 4-0. Who saw that coming before the season? Kenneth Walker III will continue his stellar start to the season for Kansas City.
Prediction: Chiefs 24, Raiders 20
Los Angeles Chargers at Seattle Seahawks, 1:25 p.m., CBS (stream with FUBO)
The Chargers are a disappointing 0-3 on the season, with 44 points in three games. Seattle's defense will give Justin Herbert fits at Lumen Field.
Prediction: Seahawks 27, Chargers 17
Denver Broncos at San Francisco 49ers, 1:25 p.m., CBS (stream with FUBO)
Bo Nix and the Broncos' offense came alive in the second half against the Rams. They will need a complete-game effort to top Brock Purdy and the 49ers in Santa Clara, California. We have doubts.
Prediction: 49ers 33, Broncos 27
Sunday Night Football prediction, Oct. 4
Detroit Lions at Carolina Panthers, 5:20 p.m., NBC (stream with Peacock)
This could be another high-scoring matchup, but only one team has Jahmyr Gibbs and that gives the Lions an edge over the Panthers in a shootout.
Prediction: Lions 31, Panthers 27
Monday Night Football prediction, Oct. 5
Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints, 5:15 p.m., ESPN (stream with FUBO)
The winner of this game moves to 2-2 and remains at least tied for first in the NFC South. The Falcons appeared to turn a page with Michael Penix Jr.'s return and are coming off a mini-bye after Thursday Night Football in Week 3.
Prediction: Falcons 27, Saints 24
