Three people were injured with one person taken to the hospital after a bee attack in Goodyear.
Units responded to reports of a swarm of bees at a home near Sarival Avenue and Van Buren Street around 5 p.m. Sept. 29, Goodyear Fire Department spokesperson Ruben Real said.
The person who was hospitalized had more than 100 bee stings but was in stable condition, Real said. The other two people refused transport by ambulance, he said.
Foam was applied to the beehive at the home, according to Real. The homeowner was asked to have a bee company come out and remove the hive, he said.
There were no injuries to firefighters, according to Real.
The condition of the three people stung was unknown, as of Sept. 30.
