Democratic House candidate Danielle "Dani" Sterbinsky will have the debate stage to herself tonight, as her better-known congressional rival opts not to attend.
Incumbent Rep. Paul Gosar, R-Arizona, declined an invitation by Arizona's Citizens Clean Elections Commission to participate in the Aug. 27 debate.
Gosar was first elected to Congress in 2010. He represents the state's 9th Congressional District, which covers most of the state's western region, including parts of La Paz, Maricopa, Mohave, and Yuma counties and the cities of Kingman and Lake Havasu City.
The debate will air live at 4 p.m. It will also be livestreamed on www.azcentral.com.
More information on how to watch is available on Clean Elections' website.
