Thursday Night Football prediction, Oct. 15
Seattle Seahawks at Denver Broncos, 5:15 p.m., Amazon Prime (stream with Prime Video)
The loser of this game falls to 3-3, not where either team expected to be at
this point of the season. Sam Darnold and the Seahawks will get a pivotal win against the Broncos thanks to some Jaxon Smith-Njigba magic.
Prediction: Seahawks 24, Broncos 21
NFL international game prediction, Oct. 18
Houston Texans vs Jacksonville Jaguars (London, England), 6:30 a.m., NFL Network (stream with FUBO)
This game could be a must-win for the Texans, who sit at 1-4, well behind the 4-1 Jaguars in the AFC South standings. C.J. Stroud will make some big plays, but Houston's defense will be the reason the Texans get the upset win in London.
Prediction: Texans 23, Jaguars 20
Sunday early NFL game predictions, Oct. 18
Chicago Bears at Atlanta Falcons, 10 a.m., FOX (stream with FUBO)
The Bears don't want to fall to .500, and the Falcons don't want to go to 2-4, making this an important game. The Bears were embarrassed in their Week 5 loss to the Packers. They will play angry against the Falcons and bounce back with a win in Atlanta, especially if Caleb Williams is back for Chicago.
Prediction: Bears 27, Falcons 20
Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns, 10 a.m., FOX (stream with FUBO)
The Browns missed a chance to move to 4-1 in their loss to the Jets, making this game vital for Cleveland in the AFC North race. Derrick Henry and the Ravens will increase their lead over Deshaun Watson and company in the division with a big win.
Prediction: Ravens 28, Browns 17
Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts, 10 a.m., FOX (stream with FUBO)
The Titans don't want to fall to 0-6, while the Colts don't want to fall to 2-4. We have no faith in Cam Ward and the Titans' ability to score. Daniel Jones and Indianapolis will win this must-win game between AFC South rivals.
Prediction: Colts 30, Titans 14
New York Jets at New England Patriots, 10 a.m., CBS (stream with FUBO)
The Patriots have won two straight in impressive fashion, with Drake Maye shining. New England will make it three straight wins with a dominant performance against Geno Smith and the Jets. It can't afford to lose to New York in an AFC East matchup.
Prediction: Patriots 31, Jets 13
New Orleans Saints at New York Giants, 10 a.m., FOX (stream with FUBO)
The Saints opened as a slight favorite over the Giants on the road. We don't see it. New York is 3-0 at home this season, and Jameis Winston is developing some chemistry with Malik Nabers. That chemistry will pay off in a pivotal victory for New York over New Orleans.
Prediction: Giants 27, Saints 23
Carolina Panthers at Philadelphia Eagles, 10 a.m., CBS (stream with FUBO)
Philadelphia just had to play in London in Week 5, while Carolina had a week off. Bryce Young and the Panthers will be rested for this one, while injuries continue to hurt the Eagles. That will lead to an essential win for the Panthers in a game both teams really need to win.
Prediction: Panthers 24, Eagles 17
Pittsburgh Steelers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 10 a.m., CBS (stream with FUBO)
Bucky Irving and the Buccaneers really impressed in their Week 5 win over the Cowboys, but a win over the Steelers would really impress us in this crucial Week 5 game for Tampa Bay. We don't see it happening. The Pittsburgh defense will force Jalon Daniels into making some rookie mistakes.
Prediction: Steelers 23, Buccaneers 16
Sunday late NFL game predictions, Oct. 18
Arizona Cardinals at Los Angeles Rams, 1:05 p.m., FOX (stream with FUBO)
Matthew Stafford and the Rams can't afford to lose this game as they look to get a boost in the NFC West race, while the Cardinals, at 1-4, really need a win. The problem for Arizona is that it can't stop other teams from scoring. Los Angeles will get a critical win at home in this NFC West game.
Prediction: Rams 38, Cardinals 24
Los Angeles Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs, 1:25 p.m., CBS (stream with FUBO)
Calling this game important for the 0-5 Chargers is an understatement. Can Justin Herbert and company really fall to 0-6? Yes, they can. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are coming off a week off and are playing at home. Bad news for Los Angeles.
Prediction: Chiefs 28, Chargers 20
Buffalo Bills at Las Vegas Raiders, 1:25 p.m., CBS (stream with FUBO)
Josh Allen and the Bills will have a short week after playing on Monday Night Football in NFL Week 5, while Kirk Cousins and the Raiders look to stop a 2-game skid. This game is in Las Vegas, but Buffalo will feel right at home, getting an essential victory.
Prediction: Bills 31, Raiders 21
Sunday Night Football prediction, Oct. 18
Dallas Cowboys at Green Bay Packers, 5:20 p.m., NBC (stream with Peacock)
This game might be the most must-win game for both teams in the league this week. Dallas can't afford to fall to 2-4, while Green Bay can't afford to fall to 3-3. Jordan Love and Green Bay have a lot of momentum after destroying the Bears. We don't see that momentum stopping against Dak Prescott and the Cowboys.
Prediction: Packers 30, Cowboys 27
Monday Night Football prediction, Oct. 19
Washington Commanders at San Francisco 49ers, 5:15 p.m., ESPN (stream with FUBO)
The Commanders desperately need to win this game after blundering their tie against the Giants in Week 5. Easier said than done against a 49ers team that looks like it is the NFL's best so far this season. Brock Purdy will be efficient, and San Francisco hands Jayden Daniels and the Commanders a very tough loss.
Prediction: 49ers 27, Commanders 24
