Arizona State released its depth chart ahead of the 2026 season opener against Morgan State on Sept. 5 at 7 p.m. MST at Mountain America Stadium. There were no real surprises. There were multiple places where two players were listed.
There are also multiple variations depending on the formations used.
Special teams is one area where there were battles, and the Sun Devils have two athletes listed at both kicker and punter.
The offensive line was another position group where battles extended well into fall camp. The solid first-team starters are Tana Alo-Tupuola at center, Maki Stewart at left guard, and Jalen Klemm at right tackle. Left tackle is listed as Luke Baklenko or Champ Westbrooks, while right guard is Wade Helton or Rob Lapuaho.
