The 2026 World Series begins Friday, Oct. 23, and regardless of its outcome, it will be historic as either the Milwaukee Brewers or the Tampa Bay Rays are set to take home their first-ever ring.
There are plenty of places in metro Phoenix to watch the monumental series with other baseball fans. But readers said that one spot stands out among the rest as the absolute best place to catch an MLB game.
In a September poll, we asked you to vote on the best sports bars in the Valley in over a dozen categories. And the spot that took the crown for best baseball bar was none other than local chain Zipps Sports Grill.
"When you've got people in the community that you serve voting for you and choosing you as one of their favorites, that's probably the highest
compliment we can get," said Zipps owner Todd Goldman upon receiving the news.

What makes Zipps a great place to watch baseball?
Goldman is a big supporter of all of Arizona's local sports teams and makes sure to show all Diamondbacks games on the bar TVs across Zipps' locations during the MLB season.
Unlike some other sports that only play once or twice a week, baseball is a daily event during the regular season. Zipps keeps it interesting for fans by offering different daily specials for every night of the week, such as taco Tuesdays and fish Fridays.
Though the hometown team didn't make it to the postseason this year, Goldman understands that true baseball fanatics still want to watch and see who ends up winning it all in October. He assured that there will be TVs dedicated to the World Series games at each Zipps location beginning Oct. 23.
"We invest a lot of money into our audio and video to hopefully allow you to hear the game clearly, so I think all of that adds up to being a great place to watch the baseball games," Goldman said.
