Police accused the former head of the Gilbert High School orchestra booster club of stealing more than $5,000 for her personal use, including at a tattoo parlor.
Allie Wolf, 45, was accused of one count of felony theft on Sept. 30. The court docket shows the complaint was mailed to her. An initial appearance in the matter was scheduled for Oct. 30.
Wolf, who was charged under another name she uses, Allison Coons, did not return a phone message seeking comment.
In August, the current treasurer of the club called police after doing an audit of the club’s books and finding discrepancies and questionable withdrawals.
Wolf was treasurer of the booster club for four years, leaving in May 2025, police said. Her time as treasurer coincided with her son’s
enrollment at Gilbert High School.
Wolf had sole possession of the debit card used to access the club’s funds, police said.
Among the unauthorized transactions, police said, were cash withdrawals from automatic teller machines, purchases at Dutch Bros and a tattoo parlor.
There were also discrepancies in cash collected for an orchestra trip to Disneyland, police said.
The use at the Black Lotus tattoo parlor, police said, was in May 2025. That month, Wolf had posted a photo of her family at a tattoo parlor and the caption, “Tattoo time for my baby boy.” The post said she picked the parlor for her son’s tattoo because the artist had done her tattoo, police said.
In a June 2026 interview with police, Wolf said she used the cash withdrawals to pay for medical bills and debts.
She said the $140 tattoo transaction was an honest mistake, according to the criminal complaint filed by police. She thought she had used her personal debit card, the complaint said, not the orchestra club’s.
Police said Wolf admitted responsibility for about $5,360 of unauthorized transactions.
