Phoenix police officers were involved in a shooting in the north Valley.
Phoenix police posted about the shooting at 1:15 p.m. Sept. 6.
It happened near 19th and Peoria avenues, police spokesperson Sgt. John Buchanan said in an email sent just before 1:30 p.m. No officers were injured, and there were no outstanding suspects, Buchanan said.
Buchanan did not immediately say whether anyone else was injured or what led to the shooting.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety’s Major Incident Division was expected to take over the investigation.
