"Dancing with the Stars" Season 35 premieres tonight with a brand new twist to kick things off.
Instead of all the celebrities and their partners performing, the two-night premiere will have things divided between the men and women. Male celebrities will perform on the first night of the two-night season premiere. They will dance to a No. 1 song from the year they were born. At the end of the night, on couple will be eliminated.
Then, on night two, the female celebrities and their partners will make their competition debuts by also performing a No. 1 song from the year they were born. Another couple will also be eliminated at the end of Wednesday night.
This means two celebrities and their dancing pros will be eliminated during premiere week alone.
Voting will be open for each episode, only for the couples who are competing that night. Live viewer votes from each night will be combined with the judges' scores to determine who will be in jeopardy.
This season's cast has 16 celebrities, including "Bachelorette" star Tyler Cameron, famous chef Giada De Laurentiis, Olympic gold medalist Amber Glenn, "Love Island" star Maura Higgins, actress Julia Stiles and internet personality Connor Wood.
Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough are back as the panel of judges.
