Thursday Night Football prediction, Sept. 24
Atlanta Falcons at Green Bay Packers, 5:15 p.m., Amazon Prime (stream with Prime Video)
The Falcons have scored 16 points this season ... and given up 54. Bijan Robinson will help Atlanta keep it close this week,
but Jordan Love and the Packers will win at Lambeau Field.
Prediction: Packers 24, Falcons 21
Sunday early NFL game predictions, Sept. 27
Los Angeles Chargers at Buffalo Bills, 10 a.m. FOX (stream with FUBO)
Justin Herbert and the Chargers opened the season with losses to the Cardinals and Raiders at home and now face the Bills on the road. Josh Allen and Buffalo will roll to 3-0.
Prediction: Bills 33, Chargers 17
Carolina Panthers at Cleveland Browns, 10 a.m., FOX (stream with FUBO)
The Browns got a surprise win in Week 2 over the Buccaneers, but Bryce Young and the Panthers' offense is putting up points this season. Deshaun Watson and Cleveland won't be able to keep up.
Prediction: Panthers 28, Browns 17
New York Jets at Detroit Lions, 10 a.m., FOX (stream with FUBO)
Geno Smith and the Jets fell to the Packers in overtime in Week 2. Jared Goff and the Lions won't let this game be that close at Ford Field.
Prediction: Lions 30, Jets 20
Houston Texans at Indianapolis Colts, 10 a.m., CBS (stream with FUBO)
The Texans made the playoffs in 2025 after starting the season 0-3. They don't want to try to have to repeat that feat in 2026. Some big defensive plays and key David Montgomery runs will help them avoid it.
Prediction: Texans 23, Colts 20
New England Patriots at Jacksonville Jaguars, 10 a.m., CBS (stream with FUBO)
Drake Maye and the Patriots still haven't gotten going offensively. This game could be a shootout, with New England finding another gear in a road win over Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars.
Prediction: Patriots 31, Jaguars 27
Kansas City Chiefs at Miami Dolphins, 10 a.m., CBS (stream with FUBO)
The 0-2 Dolphins have been outscored 62-26 in their two road games to open the season. Malik Willis and Miami finally get to play at Hard Rock Stadium, but the results won't be much better against the Chiefs.
Prediction: Chiefs 30, Dolphins 16
Tennessee Titans at New York Giants, 10 a.m., CBS (stream with FUBO)
The Titans are going to win a game this season; we just don't think it will be against Jaxson Dart and the Giants in East Rutherford, New Jersey, in NFL Week 3. The MetLife Stadium crowd will be into this game.
Prediction: Giants 27, Titans 20
Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers, 10 a.m., CBS (stream with FUBO)
Joe Burrow may finally have a defense to help him this season. Cincinnati's defense shut down Houston in Week 2. It will do enough against Aaron Rodgers to help the Bengals beat the Steelers in Week 3.
Prediction: Bengals 24, Steelers 20
Seattle Seahawks at Washington Commanders, 10 a.m., FOX (stream with FUBO)
The Seahawks' defense is still elite. That's bad news for Washington, which will be without injured quarterback Jayden Daniels. Seattle will continue to look strong in its Super Bowl defense.
Prediction: Seahawks 28, Commanders 17
Sunday late NFL game predictions, Sept. 27
Arizona Cardinals at San Francisco 49ers, 1:05 p.m., FOX (stream with FUBO)
The Cardinals fell back to Earth in their Week 2 loss to the Seahawks. We have a feeling more humble pie is coming. Brock Purdy and San Francisco have looked really good through two weeks.
Prediction: 49ers 31, Cardinals 17
Minnesota Vikings at Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 1:05 p.m., FOX (stream with FUBO)
The Bucs really can't fall to 0-3, can they? Yes, especially with the way Dallas Turner and the rest of Minnesota's defense have been playing. The boo birds will be out in Tampa.
Prediction: Vikings 24, Buccaneers 16
Las Vegas Raiders at New Orleans Saints, 1:25 p.m., CBS (stream with FUBO)
The Raiders are 2-0 and the Saints are a two-point conversion away from being 2-0. Tyler Shough's development has been quick for New Orleans. He'll outduel Kirk Cousins at home.
Prediction: Saints 24, Raiders 23
NFL International game prediction, Sept. 27
Baltimore Ravens at Dallas Cowboys (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), 1:25 p.m., CBS (stream with FUBO)
The NFL returns to Brazil in Week 3 with a strong matchup between two 1-1 teams. This matchup has the highest point total of the week. Lamar Jackson and the Ravens will edge Dak Prescott and the Cowboys with a late score.
Prediction: Ravens 31, Cowboys 27
Sunday Night Football prediction, Sept. 27
Los Angeles Rams at Denver Broncos, 5:20 p.m., NBC (stream with Peacock)
NBC gets a good one for Sunday Night Football in NFL Week 3 with Matthew Stafford vs. Bo Nix and two elite defenses. This one might come down to which defense steps up late. It will be the road team.
Prediction: Rams 27, Broncos 24
Monday Night Football prediction, Sept. 28
Philadelphia Eagles at Chicago Bears, 5:15 p.m., ESPN, ABC (stream with FUBO)
The Bears went from scoring 59 points in Week 1 to putting up 3 in Week 2, and losing Caleb Williams to injury for at least some time. Can Tyson Bagent beat Philadelphia? We have doubts.
Prediction: Eagles 24, Bears 17
