Location: Near Country Club Way and Southern Avenue in east Tempe.
Description: A single-family townhome development will bring seven for-sale units, with three bedrooms each, to a residential area in east Tempe.
Each 2,114-square-foot unit will be two stories and have a two-car garage, two balconies on the second floor and a private yard. According to a flyer from Long Realty, each unit will cost $929,000.
The site is across the street from the Shalimar Golf Course. Plans to redevelop the golf course into apartments faced backlash from residents.
History: The vacant land was sold in October 2024 for $750,000.
When will the work be done? A flyer by Long Realty said the homes should be completed by May 2026. As of July 23, 2026, the units were still
