UCF impressed in its 21-13 win over TCU last week. A win over Conner Weigman and Houston would really impress us, but we don't see it happening. The Cougars' offense will be too much for the Knights.
Prediction: Houston 31, UCF 20
Middle Tennessee at Kansas, 9 a.m., ESPNU (stream with FUBO)
Kansas had a week off after dropping its Big 12 opener against Arizona State in London. Isaiah Marshall and the Jayhawks will bounce back in a big way to end a two-game skid.
Prediction: Kansas 33, Middle Tennessee 17
West Virginia at Iowa State, 9 a.m., TNT (stream with Sling)
The loser of this game falls to 0-2 in conference play. The Mountaineers may be the underdog, but we see Rich Rodriguez's offense doing enough to upset the Cyclones.
Prediction: West Virginia 28, Iowa State 20
BYU at TCU, 4 p.m., ESPN (stream with FUBO)
At 2-2 overall, TCU is one of the bigger disappointments in the Big 12. That would change with an upset over Bear Bachmeier and the Cougars. We don't see it happening.
Prediction: BYU 27, TCU 17
Texas Tech at Colorado, 4:30 p.m., FOX (stream with FUBO)
Texas Tech is still one of the teams to beat in the Big 12 this season. Deion Sanders and Colorado have two straight losses since a 2-0 start. They will lose a third straight Saturday.
Prediction: Texas Tech 35, Colorado 21
Baylor at Arizona State, 7:30 p.m., ESPN (stream with FUBO)
Arizona State had a week off to prepare for this game after holding on to beat Kansas in London. The winner moves to 2-0 in conference play. Cutter Boley and the Sun Devils will edge the Bears in a thriller.
Prediction: Arizona State 31, Baylor 28
Cincinnati at Arizona, 8 p.m., FOX (stream with FUBO)
The Wildcats are 3-1, but 0-1 in Big 12 play, while Cincinnati (4-0, 1-0) has been one of the biggest surprises in the conference. Noah Fifita and Arizona are a 7-point favorite. This game will be closer than that.
Prediction: Arizona 33, Cincinnati 30
