The Arizona Cardinals' trade compensation for Marvin Harrison Jr. has not been revealed.
Neither has the trade destination for the former No. 4 overall NFL draft pick.
But that hasn't stopped social media from reacting to the reports that the Cardinals are trading the Ohio State product, once considered generational prospect at wide receiver.
And social media is not a fan of the move for Arizona.
Many took to X to slam the Cardinals, and GM Monti Ossenfort, for the trade of Harrison Jr., with one calling it 'organizational malpractice" and several others calling for the general manager's firing.

Arizona Cardinals slammed for Marvin Harrison Jr. trade: 'I don't think I can support this franchise anymore'
With Marvin Harrison jr. traded Monti Ossenfort needs to be on the 1st flight out of AZ.

I’m done with him as the Arizona Cardinals GM!
I don't think I can support this franchise anymore.

Trading Marvin Harrison Jr is the nail in the coffin for me.
A huge supporter since '89. Monti Ossenfort said just yesterday on Burns and Gambo that Marv was a part of their plans moving forward.
Today, he's traded. 🖕
Kind of crazy the Cardinals are already giving up on Marvin Harrison Jr. just two years after taking him fourth overall.

the arizona cardinals as an organization choose to run with jacoby brissett over believing in MHJ

i hate this life
Monti Ossenfort has now spearheaded the release of QB Kyler Murray and the trade of WR Marvin Harrison Jr.

The GM is 16-39.
The Marvin Harrison Jr trade equates to Monti Ossenfort's walking papers right?

Can’t wait for Monti Ossenfort to have Adam Schefter tweet out how well Monti Ossenfort handled negotiations on this Marvin Harrison Jr. trade.

Only thing Bidwill can do save some face with the fans is fire Monti the second the Marv deal is official 😂😂😂Insane Monti was brought back this year (mostly just because Bidwill didn’t want to pay 2 GM’s sadly) https://t.co/ZVCN6stnLB

One thing I will say about this Marvin Harrison Jr trade situation is this;
— Brett Larson (@bcamlarson1) October 10, 2026
How Monti Ossenfort is still allowed to be GM in Arizona is beyond me.
The Arizona Cardinals are hemorrhaging losses, and now they're turning Marvin Harrison Jr. into another organizational embarrassment.
— Bo Brack (@BoBrack) October 10, 2026
In just three years, he's gone from potential franchise cornerstone to unceremoniously traded.
It's never been harder to be a Cardinals fan. pic.twitter.com/BqlmH0QG5w
This is such organizational malpractice. And the blame falls squarely on Bidwell who shouldn’t even be allowing Monti to make any moves like this… he’s just compounding his mistakes a like freaked out child.

Turning a top 4 pick into possibly a 2nd rounder and 15 wins in three season is Monti Ossenfort football. @AZCardinals
— Pedro (@ShkinnyAssPedro) October 10, 2026
My first reaction: it was time and it wasn’t working in Arizona for whatever reason (yes Arizona deserves blame).
— Benjamin Garcia (@BenGarciaShow) October 10, 2026
My second reaction: how does Monti Ossenfort continue to survive all of this? https://t.co/Ro7yCi5qZl
If Monti was allowed to concede defeat on his own 4th overall pick, that should be grounds for termination. He shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near the 27 draft.
