What is the story about?

Location: Lake Pleasant Parkway and Yearling Road in Peoria.

Description: National coffee chain Dutch Bros is coming to a growing area of north Peoria.

Currently, the city's northern region has no Dutch Bros locations. The new site will sit north of the Mexican restaurant, Someburros.

History: The site will be in The Shops at Lake Pleasant development, owned by Phoenix-based Vestar. GPS Commercial Advisors, a commercial real estate agency, said on social media earlier this year that Dutch Bros. had officially closed on a lease at the development.

Dutch Bros is planned for the corner of Lake Pleasant Parkway and Yearling Road, in north Peoria. Currently, there are no locations in the city's northern region.

When will the work be done? An estimated opening date is not yet known. The land was still undisturbed on Oct. 14. Alissan Hildebrandt, a company spokesperson, said there was no information to share.
