The Arizona Republic: Lions 27, Vikings 21
Jeremy Cluff writes: "The Vikings are an impressive 6-0 thanks to a very impressive defense. That defense needs help, however, and Kyler Murray and company won't be able to provide enough
scoring to give Minnesota a win against Jared Goff and the Lions."
Bookies.com: Bet the Vikings with the points vs Lions
Bill Speros writes: "Tom Brady returns to Ford Field for the second straight week for Fox to call the Vikings-Lions game. The Vikings, led by QB Kyler Murray, emerged from Week 7 as the lone unbeaten team in the NFC. The Lions nabbed a referee-aided 20-17, last-second field-goal win over Green Bay. The Lions’ toothless defense (27.5 points per game) will be pushed by the Vikings. Meanwhile, Minnesota cedes just 12.3 points per game, will pressure Jared Goff, and happily allow the Lions to run into its front seven. This line is a bit odd as it sits right on 3 points. But take them, as this one has 'last-second-kick' written all over it."

Vegas Insider: Bettors backing Lions over Vikings in NFL Week 8 game
Patrick Everson writes: Minnesota (6-0 SU/5-1 ATS) didn't look pretty in doing it, but remained unbeaten in Week 7. The Vikings held off Indianapolis 16-10, while failing to cover as 7-point home favorites. With Kansas City and San Francisco both losing, Minnesota is the last team without a loss this season. Detroit (4-2 SU/1-4-1 ATS) averaged 32.8 points per game in its first five outings. Then the Lions found a way to win despite scoring much less. Detroit topped Green Bay 20-17 on a final-seconds field goal, but didn't cash as 3.5-point home chalk.
