After 10 years, chef Matt Carter and his business partner, Brian Raab of Broken Plate Hospitality, the group behind The Mission, Zinc Bistro and Fat Ox, are opening a new restaurant.
Dash, an all-day restaurant and market, is slated to open in McCormick Ranch, at the corner of Hayden Road and Mountain View, in fall 2026.
The space is a cozy 12-seat dining room and a 40-seat patio.
“I’ve been dreaming of this concept for 10 years, driving past this exact space several times a week wishing our community had a real neighborhood joint,” Carter said in a press release. “Dash is a culmination of my personal culinary passions, and things I’ve wanted to do but haven’t fit at our other restaurant."
What's on the menu at Dash
For breakfast, guests can expect coffee and pastries by
Fat Ox pastry chef, Lisa Graf.
For lunch, Dash offers salads, sandwiches and chef specials.
The dinner menu features Roman-style pizza, charcoal-roasted chicken and soft-serve ice cream.
Beverages range from mimosas in the morning to batch cocktails in the evening.
The market will have Carter's signature dishes like his mac-and-cheese, chips and guacamole and hand-shaped pastas.
"Dash is the ultimate neighborhood hang to grab a morning coffee, catch up over lunch or share a bottle of wine at sunset and then take one home with you," Raab said in a press release.
