A beloved Costco dessert is making its return to food courts.
The wholesale retailer confirmed that the twisted churro would be back for a limited time in an Instagram video posted on Friday, Sept. 18.
"Look out for it at your local warehouse over the coming weeks as exact launch dates may vary," the caption said.
Now, shoppers in metro Phoenix want to know when these delicious treats will return to local warehouses.
"My store gets called every hour with someone asking about the churros ever since it was announced they were coming back," @Conscious-Mail-4943 commented in the Reddit thread r/phoenix.
In the Costco post, it states that the twisted churro is served warm with cinnamon and sugar. It is listed at $1.49, the same prices they were before
they left food courts in 2024.
Are the Costco twisted churros back in metro Phoenix?
The consensus among most of the Costco food courts in metro Phoenix is that they do not have the twisted churros yet, but were expecting them in the next few days.
Employees at the Costco locations at 4502 E. Oak St. in Phoenix and 10000 W. McDowell Road in Avondale have stated that the churros were not currently in the food court, but they would be available sometime this week.
The Tempe warehouse store at 1445 W. Elliot Road also stated they are getting it sometime this week, but don't know which date.
The Paradise Valley Costco at 4570 E. Cactus Road said they will have them within the next day or two.
