CHICAGO – The Phoenix Suns continue their preseason action Wednesday, Oct. 7, against the Chicago Bulls at United Center.
3TV is televising the 5 p.m. MST game.
The Suns opened their preseason schedule with a 109-107 road loss Oct. 5 to the Detroit Pistons at Little Caesars Arena.
Phoenix led by as many as 19 points in the first half, but Suns head coach Jordan Ott rested the starters the entire second half.
“I know we built the lead, but we were talking to that second and third group, everything is an audition,” Suns All-Star Devin Booker said. “It’s going to be a point and time that one or two of you guys, we’re going to need you guys to get a win. Treat it like a regular season game, do anything we can to get a win.”
The Suns started Jalen Green,
Dillon Brooks, Miles Bridges, Oso Ighodaro and Booker against the Pistons.
Ott is looking to play starters beyond halftime against the Bulls.
“We’ll extend those minutes a little bit more into the third (quarter),” Ott said after practice on Oct. 6. “That’s the plan right now. Just continue to build up over the preseason. Continue the chemistry, getting along, building the relationships.”
