The 1,000-episode twist has shaken even more things up on "Big Brother" 28.
The competition had houseguests competing for safety
to avoid being the last pre-jury eviction. Dee Valladares won the first competition, giving her the ability to save someone else and choose who initially competes in the eviction competition. She decided to repay the favor of the Diamond Power of Veto by saving Rick Devens.Dee then chose Haley Thogmartin and Drew Campbell to go head-to-head. Drew won, choosing to give the next safety to Angela Murray and having Barrett Pfeiffer compete against Haley next. Barrett won against her and then strategically chose Yash Patel and LaTrice "Lala" Verrett to beat Haley.

seemed to shift the dynamics of the house, along with Mallory Aurichio's recent eviction.
Now, with Drew as the new Head of Household, this week there's a chance his own ally might go home.

Who wins the Veto on 'Big Brother'?
Yash Patel won the Power of Veto this week on "Big Brother." He decided to use the Veto and remove himself from the block.
Who won BB Blockbuster this week?
Since Yash used the Veto on himself, Drew had to put a renom up for eviction. Devens had volunteered earlier, so Drew put him on the block. The new nominations were Devens, Lala and Taylor.
Devens won the BB Blockbuster competition leaving Lala and Taylor still on the block.
Who was evicted from 'Big Brother' tonight?
The live feeds have shown that even Dee and Angela seem to be throwing Devens under the bus. They're both losing trust in their ally, and if he doesn't have enough votes to be evicted, they will vote against him.
If Devens does not win the BB Blockbuster, he may be the first member of the jury. Most houseguests, including Barrett, plan to vote him out. If Devens does win, it could be a toss-up between Taylor and Lala in terms of who will go home.
At first, the contestants wanted to keep Taylor, but Angela and Dee are adamant about protecting Lala, as she may listen to them. Yash also keeps changing his mind about keeping his ally, Taylor.
Kalshi odds predict that Rick Devens has a 53% chance of being evicted, followed by Taylor at 43% and Lala at 5%.
By a vote of 4-2, Lala was evicted from the "Big Brother" house and became the first member of the jury. The only houseguests who voted to evict Taylor were Melody and Angela.
