A man found injured and with "obvious signs of trauma" in Phoenix has died, and police are seeking information about the homicide from the public.
Officers responded to a report of an injured man about 10 p.m. on Aug. 4 near 27th Avenue and Indian School Road, a Phoenix police brief of the incident by Sgt. Sheree Lee stated.
Stephen Schultz, 73, was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. The incident report did not detail the nature of his wounds.
Schultz died Aug. 7 from his injuries, police said.
