Around this time last year, "South Park" creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone were in the midst of creating seasons 27 and 28 one episode at a time to create two shorter seasons that were very up to date on the latest happenings, especially in the White House.
Well, fresh off their Emmy Award win for Outstanding Animated Program, Parker and Stone are once again taking aim at President Donald Trump by renaming South Park "South America." According to the official "South Park" — now "South America" — X account, Parker and Stone were "inspired by the bravery and patriotism of Apple and Google" and that they would be changing South Park's name, ending it with a special thank you to their parent company Paramount "a Skydance Capitulation."

Will there be 'South Park' season 29?
Yes, "South Park" is returning for a 29th season on Wednesday, Sept. 16, at 10 p.m. Arizona Time on Comedy Central and then will be available to stream on Paramount+ the following day.
Where can I watch 'South Park' season 29?
All seasons of "South Park" — including the new season 29 — can be streamed on Paramount+ with a subscription. The show is also airing old and new episodes on Comedy Central for those still hooked up to cable.
How many episodes are in 'South Park' season 29?
There are currently only six episodes set to release for season 29, according to southpark.cc.com.
