Location: Near south 56th Street and west Pecos Road in southwest Chandler.
Description: An industrial building that was converted into an office is being converted back into Class A Industrial space through a redevelopment project called Chandler Freeways Business Park.
That project also includes the construction of a new building.
The first building, an about 88,000-square-foot building, will get a new roof and HVAC units. The second building will be nearly 103,000 square feet of Class A Industrial space.
The space will be home to Kovach Enclosure Systems, which has been in Chandler since 1970 and employs 365 people. In 2025, the company signed a 15-year lease.
The industrial hub is in the middle of the west Chandler employment corridor, an area
focused on the manufacturing and technology industries. Two other projects combined will bring an additional 305,000 square feet of industrial space to lots around 56th Street.
The employment corridor is surrounded by Loop 202 and Interstate 10. Chandler Freeways Business Park is just southeast of the Loop 202 and I-10 interchange.
History: The first building was built in 2004 and converted into an office space. In November 2024, Ryan Companies bought the land from Landwin Management for $16.84 million, according to real estate database Vizzda.
When will the work be done? It is expected to be completed in the fall of 2026, though an exact completion date has not been announced.
