My wife and I were discussing the details of how a zone pass defense in the NFL is supposed to work. Things like when do you pass off a guy in your zone to somebody else? Is it different when your guy is running a crossing pattern or when he is going deep? How do you know if you have help from a safety and then what do you do? When more than one guy comes into your zone how is he covered? Who picks up a guy coming late from the backfield?
After watching the Cardinals play, we thought those topics would be good ones to cover in the next meeting with the Cardinal defense.

Salute Arizona’s election workers
I visited my local early voting site today to drop off my mail ballot. I live in South Tempe so my site was in Guadalupe. I was given kind and professional
service in every way and felt that my ballot is secure and will count. If you use the early voting or drop off services in your neighborhood, please be sure to thank the dedicated individuals who are providing this patriotic service. Every bit as important as military service and law enforcement. Thank you all.

As a subscriber for over 60 years, I just wanted to say how much I enjoy the almanac page. I read every word on the page! Thank you for keeping it in the paper. I still get my paper delivered to my home and I am so grateful for the service. My paperboy, Ron, is so very faithful everyday. He comes early in the morning, My newspaper is wrapped if there is threatening weather and so much more. Patty Doom, Wickenburg
