SAN ANTONIO – Phoenix Suns guard Luke Kennard went to the locker room midway through the second quarter after an awkward landing on a contested floater against the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday, Oct. 14.
He stayed on that end of the court slightly bending over as the Suns were a man down on the defensive end.
When there was a stoppage in play, Kennard went straight to the locker room with 6:43 left in the first half.
The Suns trailed 34-32 at the time Kennard checked out of the game.
One of the NBA's top 3-point shooters, Kennard signed with the Suns in the offseason.
Phoenix has one final preseason game remaining Friday, Oct. 16, at home against the Utah Jazz. The Suns open the 2026-27 season Oct. 21, on the road versus the Portland Trail Blazers.
